Visual Arts at The Banff Centre

Visual Arts Studios

A unique aspect of our residency program is the opportunity to have direct interaction with professional artists in other disciplines — painting, photography, mixed media, computer arts/interactive media, performance art, sculpture, textiles, music, and at certain times of the year writing and dance. These artists come from many parts of the world. Experimentation and collaboration across media is encouraged and use of other facilities can often be negotiated as our faculty is committed to assisting artists in the realization of their creative goals.
