Digital Studio
Large format archival inkjet prints can be output in the Visual Arts Digital Studio. This studio is a bookable facility that provides equipment and software for image scanning, preparation, and output of archival inkjet prints. The Digital Studio operates in conjunction with the printmaking and photography studios, enabling the possibility to combine established print media with current digital printing technologies. See Visual Arts Facilities for more information.
If you require access to the Digital Studio, please note this on the Resource Request Forms provided in your Application Package.
Please Note: Digital Film & Media Production also operates an Epson Stylus Pro 4880 17” wide and Epson Stylus Pro 11880 60” wide, archival inkjet printers. These printers are full color (pigment based) digital printers that output onto roll or sheet papers. The Epson Stylus Pro is archival and prints are guaranteed for 100 years, but only when printed on specific Epson papers. Participants in the Visual Arts Residencies may access the Epson Stylus Pro printers subject to booking times and availability. Artists who require significant use of either machine must request the Epson Stylus Pro 11880 or 4880 in their Application Package, through their project proposals resource request forms.
