Henry Kowalski has worked in television for over 25 years both in front of and behind the camera for CBC and CTV. As chief news editor at CTV News, he made it Canada’s most watched news. As vice president and then senior vice president, he led the remake of W FIVE and Canada AM, which both rose to number one in their genres. He also headed the team that launched CTV’s 24-hour news channel, and served two full-time stints executive producing Daily Planet. Since leaving CTV, he has taken up a camera and shot features for Discovery, two documentary series for Animal Planet, and is producing high-definition television (HDTV) segments for “Daily Planet” in China, India, Australia, and soon Brazil.
