Programs at The Banff Centre

Citytv Scholarships

Awarded annually
Applications accepted throughout the year

Program Information

Established in 2006 and continuing until 2013 due to the generous commitment of support of Rogers Broadcasting Limited, the Citytv Scholarships provide $5000 to support Aboriginal participants, and their professional development, in Banff New Media Institute programs. These scholarships ensure the continued participation of Aboriginal artists and scientists in creative new media programs.

The Banff New Media Institute is dedicated to the principle that all of our programs should benefit the Canadian Aboriginal community through consultation, education, practical learning, and technical support. The Banff Centre is proud to be sharing this endeavour with Rogers Broadcasting by awarding the Citytv Scholarships, and assisting the recipients to further their project goals and professional development.
