Arlene Stamp was born in London, Ontario in 1938. She studied at the University of Western Ontario (BA, 1960), the Alberta College of Art, Emma Lake Workshop, University of Calgary (BFA, 1979), The Banff Centre School of Fine Arts and the University of Calgary (MFA Program, 1980). She lived in Calgary for over a decade in the 70s and early 80s, currently living and working in Toronto.
