Martha Rosler lives in New York, USA. She received a B.A. from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and an M.F.A. from the University of California in San Diego. She has had numerous solo exhibitions and performances in Canada and the United States and participated in many group exhibitions worldwide including X International Encounter on Video, Tokyo, Videotapes by Women from the Los Angeles Women’s Video Centre, Australia/New Zealand tour, and A Decade of Women’s Performance Art, New Orleans. Rosler has also contributed to many publications such as Artforum, Artweek, Heresies, and the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art Journal.
