Tom Pow held the 1992-93 Scottish/Canadian Fellowship based at the University of Alberta. During that time, he travelled from Vancouver to the Yukon, from Cape Breton to Baffin Island. He wrote some of the poems in Red Letter Day (Bloodaxe Books 1996) in the Leighton Artists' Colony and began work on two radio plays set in Canada for the BBC: Wilderness Dreams and Aglooka: John Rae and the Lost Navigators. Pow teaches Creative and Cultural Studies at the Crichton Campus of the University of Glasgow in Dumfries. Contributor to: |
