Susan Musgrave's third novel, Cargo of Orchids, was published in September 2000, by Knopf. Her most recent collection of poetry is What the Small Day Cannot Hold: Collected Poems 1970-1985 (Beach Holme 2000). She has been nominated, and has received, awards in five different categories of writing: poetry, fiction, non-fiction, personal essay, children's writing and for her work as an editor.
