Alain Laframboise is an artist whose work has been exhibited in Canada, Switzerland and Italy and belongs in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and the Musée du Québec. He teaches art history and theory at l’Université de Montréal, specializing in Italian mannerism, and is author of Istoria et Théorie de l’Art, Italie XV-XVIs. He is a regular contributor to numerous periodicals on contemporary art including Parachute, Vanguard, and Proté and is co-founder and co-director of the journal <Éditions Trois.
