Richard Fung is a Toronto-based independent video producer and writer. His videotapes draw on a range of documentary and experimental forms to engage ideas about identity, consciousness, sexuality, racism and the politics of the everyday. His critical writing, published in magazines and anthologies, also deals with issues of cultural policy and racial equity. He is a frequent lecturer and has organized several events, including the conference and festival Race to the Screen.
