Sylvie Fortin is currently curator of contemporary art at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Previously she had been actively involved with artist-run centres in Québec, first at la chambre blanche in Québec City, where she was program coordinator from 1991 to 1994, and subsequently, at Oboro in Montréal. She has also worked as an independent curator and writer.
