The Painter House

The Banff Centre is now accepting applications for residencies in the Painter House studio. Rich with history and alive with a new beginning, this historic house is a welcome addition to the Leighton Artists’ Colony for Independent Residencies.

The Painter House provides an ideal work space for collaborative projects, while at the same time offering private working space suitable for individuals or break out groups. If you have a group of 4 – 8 persons that would benefit from working together in a self-contained studio, we invite you to submit a project proposal for a Painter House residency.

The Painter House is studio space complete with wireless internet access, a grand piano, and printing options. The kitchen area is suitable for preparing light meals and snacks.
