about Film & Media
Film and Media at The Banff Centre inspires creativity in film and video, new media, and audio, conducts media research, and produces the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival. Film and Media is a multi-disciplinary department that responds to The Banff Centre’s strategic priority of providing seamless engagement across and between disciplines, and is characterized by a talented pool of technical support personnel. Programming includes film and new media residency programs, creative training and workshops, as well as self-directed opportunities. There is an emphasis on the development of significant collaborations, both within the Centre, and with external partners.
