Jessica Grant
Jessica Grant is the author of the novel Come, Thou Tortoise, published by Knopf in 2009. Her collection of stories, Making Light of Tragedy, includes a story that won both the Western Magazine Award for Fiction and the Journey Prize. Her fiction has appeared in various journals and anthologies, including The Penguin Book of Contemporary Canadian Women’s Short Stories, edited by Lisa Moore, and the forthcoming Darwin’s Bastards: Astounding Tales from Tomorrow, edited by Zsuzsi Gartner.
Grant has a PhD in creative writing from the University of Calgary and lives in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
