Chris Fisher

Chris has published three short story collections. The most recent is Third and Long published by Coteau Books in 2004. Voices in the Wilderness was published by Hagios Press in 1999. His first book of short stories, Sun Angel, published in 1992 by Coteau Books, won the Saskatchewan Book Awards' Publishers Prize. His short stories were also featured in Oberon's Coming Attractions series. Chris was a participant writer in the inaugural Wired Writing Studio at The Banff Centre in 2000 and for the past 11 years has served as the Wired Writing program's technical advisor. He lives in Lumsden, Saskatchewan and has been the City of Regina's Director of Information Technology for the past 14 years. This is Chris’ third year as technical advisor for the Aboriginal Emerging Writers program.
