Dianne Warren
Dianne Warren is the author of three books of short fiction and three full-length plays. Her most recent book of fiction, A Reckless Moon (Raincoast Books), was released in 2002. She has won several awards for her short stories, including the Saskatchewan Book of the Year Award (Bad Luck Dog, 1993) and the 1995 National Magazine Gold Award for Fiction. She is a two-time winner of the Western Magazine Award for Fiction (1993 and 1998). Her play Serpent in the Night Sky was shortlisted for a Governor General’s Award for Drama in 1992 and was most recently produced in Buffalo, New York. She has been the fiction editor of Grain magazine and is an experienced teacher of creative writing at such places as the Sage Hill Writing Experience, The Banff Centre, and the University of Regina. She is currently completing a novel set in Saskatchewan, where she has lived most of her life.
