Banff Summer Arts Festival

June 21 – August 25, 2012

The sky is blue and the mountains are in front of you when the Banff Summer Arts Festival kicks off with Performance in the Park featuring the Sam Roberts Band on Saturday, June 23.

The Banff Centre’s beautiful new Shaw Amphitheatre is featured this summer with perennial Canadian favourites Blue Rodeo, blues force of nature Matt Andersen, South African legend Johnny Clegg, and famed folksinger Emmylou Harris — all on sale now.

Because of this support, The Banff Centre is able to showcase many of its programs and participants during the Banff Summer Arts Festival.

The Banff Centre’s supporters are recognized on the annual donor wall in the Eric Harvie Theatre and in an annual published list of supporters. Named funds that were created in order to provide support for faculty, master artists, fellowships, and scholarships are, as applicable to the summer programs, listed in the Festival house programs.
