No one can predict the future but we all aspire to envision what is possible. Recent history illustrates that unanticipated events, new discoveries, and rapid technological innovations can dramatically alter otherwise predictable course of events. How can we think about the future in a way that helps us make decisions now? A series of conversations and sessions integrate a number of creative and innovative processes to help business units and teams prepare for navigating the complex challenges of leading in the 21st century.

The Handcrafted Team

We are often aware when a team is not functioning efficiently, but we rarely know how to come together and set a framework for success. A handcrafted team, like a finely-made piece of furniture, connotes a sense of quality, legacy, and endurance. We must have a sense of our past and an eye to future goals while maintaining care and attention to detail. In the workplace, teams come together to define and achieve a common goal. This 1- or 2-day workshop examines the process of teamwork and the care that must be taken to ensure that the final product comes from a team intent on quality, substance, and attention to detail.
