Immediately following the Banff Television Festival, The Banff Centre presented this weekend workshop for independent producers, broadcasters, and distributors, exploring the British model of independent production. International co-production opportunities and Channel Four’s ongoing commitment to the independent sector were topics of discussion. This model has long been talked about in Canada. This event provided a terrific opportunity to look at top British and international content and meet the senior commissioning editor of Independent Film and Video.
