Watch and Listen

The Banff International String Quartet Competition works closely with Calgary’s Honens International Piano Competition to provide creative support to the winners. Watch as Georgy Tchaidze, Honens Prize Laureate, goes on a musical “blind date” with the Cecilia String Quartet, with inspiring and rewarding results.

Video: courtesy Honens, recorded at The Banff Centre, October 2011.

Listen to the Cecilia String Quartet perform Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet No. 26 in G minor, Op. 20 No. 3, recorded live in Berlin (Konzerthaus), Germany, March 2011, during the Winner’s Tour.

You can also download the recording (right-click on the link).
